Hickey, Collins & Beach, Chartered is a local public accounting firm with its office in Vero Beach, Florida and was formed in July 2005 by the former associates of Hamilton and Company, Chartered following the retirement of Tom Hamilton. While we are relatively new as a firm, we continue a tradition established by our predecessor over 25 years ago of providing the highest quality, professional services to our clients. As part of our commitment to that quality, we are subject to a periodic peer review by another independent CPA firm.
We strive to do business the old fashioned way while still providing you with top-notch service. We believe in long-term relationships, developing staff, and honoring our commitments. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in accounting from Michigan State University in September 1978 and joined the firm of Hamilton & Company, Chartered, in December 1978. He passed the certified public accounting exam in 1979 and has been a CPA since March 1980. Joe’s professional memberships include the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Among his other duties, Joe serves as the firm's quality review manager.
Timothy Collins CPA
Tim received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in May 1982. He began his career with the firm of Hamilton & Company, Chartered, in September 1982. Tim passed the certified public accounting exam in 1983 and has been a CPA since March 1984. His professional memberships include the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Ralph E. Beach, III, CPA, MST
Ralph received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accountancy from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in August 1986. He completed several semesters of post-graduate studies before joining the firm of Hamilton & Company, Chartered in October 1988. He passed the certified public accounting exam in November 1989 and has been a CPA since April 1990. In December 1993, Ralph earned a Master of Science in Taxation from UCF. His professional memberships include the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
